Rainbow Choker. 2020

Sterling Silver & Abalone. Foraged, Fabricated, Bezel-set, Epoxied.

Pieced together with the patience of tides. Fabricated from sterling silver and hand-picked, unaltered bows of iridescent abalone, the piece created itself the more time I spent wandering the rocky shoals and tidal pools of the northern California coastline. No abalone was altered or harmed in the creation of this piece- each individual bow has been broken and worn down by the sea itself.

Brass & Abalone. Foraged, Fabricated, prong-set.

Abalone is said to reflect evil & misfortune in the mystery of it’s shimmering nacre. This piece is fabricated of brass and meant to be hung over or facing a doorway or a window. All abalone was preserved as I found it, worn into deliciously irregular shape and pieced together as if from a singular creature.

Brass, copper, sterling silver. Raised, chased, repouséd, fabricated.

A hidden tower covers a secret cavity within the swirling sphere of a golden ball. Twists to open. Made entirely from sheet metal.

Studio Allegory Collection. 2011-2016

14k Gold Fill and Sterling Silver.

Cast & fabricated for for my independent jewelry brand Studio Allegory. My First Collection, Akkadia, was inspired by a 3-pointed flower motif from ancient Sumerian ornament. My second collection, Crystal Suite, was arrangements of molded and cast quartz crystals. The third collection, Syzygy, was inspired by my witnessing a partial solar eclipse in Oakland CA in 2014.
